The 1.2 km long Alexandra Canal was revamped in 2011 as part of the Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) programme by PUB-the National Water Agency. This wireless mobile learning trail was jointly developed by Crescent Girls’ School, PUB and Hewlett Packard Singapore, to promote an appreciation for water management in Singapore and inspire advocacy amongst youths for the water cause.
Through a series of interactive mini games, interesting crossword puzzles and exciting quizzes, users get to learn about water conservation, the wetlands, water quality testing and the history of the canal.
